My senior collection, Spirits of a House, was featured on Vogue Runway as one of only six collections selected out of fifty to be written about, and was also spotlighted in Fashionista magazine. Vogue wrote, “There was a clear wearability to many of the clothes in this show that’s not always found in student collections. It was the emphasis on craft and the handmade, however, that underscored some of this year’s strongest efforts”—noting my use of vintage handkerchiefs, which I transformed into a flowing skirt, and the sculptural ceramic handbags that brought a haunting, tactile quality to the collection.
